This connecting rod kit was developed as an alternative to the OEM part. We offer high quality forgings that are made using the best materials available and precision machined with state-of-the art equipment. Our rods provide longevity, durability, and performance that is second to none.

- Heavy-duty OE replacement connecting rods
- Certified 8620 AISI steel provides superior strength
- Crankpins are manufactured from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 and case hardened to 58-62Rc
- Feature the latest in caged needle roller bearing designs for high rpm longevity
- Uniquely designed big end uses strategically located side scalloping and vent slots to minimize bearing race distortion at high rpm
- Small ends are double drilled to supply extra lubrication and cooling to the wrist pin bearing, which is especially important when the piston crown is close to the wrist pin bearing
- Shot-peened to eliminate surface stress risers and to smoothly blend together the rod forging's radiuses
- Double honing produces an ultra-round bearing surface for reliability at high rpm
- Most rod assemblies are sold complete with rod, crank pin, crank pin bearing, top-end bearing and silver-coated bronze phosphor thrust washers
- Compatible with Hot Rods and OE crankshafts
- Made in U.S.A.; connecting rod manufactured at Hot Rods Iowa facility
- Kit Includes: Connecting Rod, Crank Pin, Crank Bearing, Wrist Pin Bearing & Thrust Washers
- Forged 8620 AISI steel connecting rod and crank pin
- SAE recommended phosphor bronze thrust washers
