Description

The camshaft plays an important role in opening and closing valves to enable fuel and air into the combustion chamber of your vehicle. If you are experiencing hesitation with a loss of power, jerking or shaking, more fuel consumption, or producing more emissions than usual, it could be time for a replacement. Intake and Exhaust Camshaft from Hot Cams are offered in 3 stages, with stage 1 cams offering more pulling power, stage 2 cams supplying more horsepower, and stage 3 cams providing the ultimate in rpm horsepower and over rep. Camshafts from Hot Cams are offered as a set of both intake and exhaust cams or are available separately with detailed instructions for simple and easy installation.

Additional Note

NOTE: Intake and exhaust cams sold separately. Hot Cams #s 2251-2IN and 2252-2E are designed to be used as a set. These cams will provide improved full throttle torque and horsepower at all rpm 4000 and up. Uses stock KLX400 valve springs.


  • Offroad competition use only.
  • Use with 0925-0693 to increase mid range and top end power over OEM with no loss on the bottom end.
  • Improves full throttle torque and horsepower at 4000 rpm and up.
  • Required to use Suzuki DRZ400 valve springs when installing in Suzuki LTZ400 or Arctic Cat DVX400 or Kawasaki KFX400.
  • Kawasaki KLX400R/SR uses stock KLX400 valve springs.
  • Exhaust Valve Lash: 0.200 mm.
