Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Separators for an advanced battery technology that eliminates the need to ever add water. Batteries are totally sealed and spillproof—all acid is absorbed in special plates and AGM separators. Featuring advanced lead-calcium technology, these batteries hold their specific gravity more than 3x longer than conventional lead antimony batteries. Never needs refilling but may need periodic charging. Comes with pre-measured acid tubes that dealer easily empties into battery. Includes a seal that is then placed across top of battery to create a sealed, spill proof battery.
Description
Absorbed Glass Mat or AGM batteries are designed to eliminate water loss and are optimized to run strong without upkeep. Where long-term storage usually means the death of lesser batteries, this powerful AGM battery will run strong when needed, undeterred by infrequent use. This proves especially compelling for vehicles where acid leaks could arise such as ATVs, watercraft, and motorcycles. The YTX(H) or YTX High-Performance series features increased power and 30% more CCA performance over the regular YTX series for improved cold climate performance. These batteries come factory-activated, meaning the high-gravity acid is already filled, sealed, and charged in the factory before making it to your door.
