Absorbed Glass Mat or AGM batteries are designed to eliminate water loss and are optimized to run strong without upkeep. Where long-term storage usually means the death of lesser batteries, this powerful AGM battery will run strong when needed, undeterred by infrequent use. This proves especially compelling for vehicles where acid leaks could arise such as ATVs, watercraft, and motorcycles. The YTX series features better CCA performance over the YT series for improved cold climate performance. To remain factory-fresh the AGM battery is shipped dry along with its own pack of high-gravity acid that’s added at the time of installation.
