The S-M7 Helmet is engineered for off-road racing, and is optimized to offer the perfect blend of superior ventilation and comfort in a lightweight helmet, while its supremely aerodynamic composite shell delivers exceptional impact protection. As well as Alpinestars patented A-Head Fitment and Visor Detaching Systems, the S-M7 is equipped with innovative PLASMA technology at the lower side of the shell edge for optimum energy dissipation in case of contact with the collarbone area.

- Key Features
- Aerodynamic profile design offers a smooth, streamlined shell free of any external channels and features that might act as a load point in an impact or compromise the overall integrity of the helmet's construction
- The shell's curvature promotes reduced friction on impact, allowing deflection and the most efficient transfer of energy to protect the rider's head from direct force and referred to the neck and spinal column
- Ultra-ventilated helmet with 20 individual intake and exhaust ports, not including the eye port, with 13 intakes and 7 exhausts, for optimum ventilation
- The fit can be further customized via the Alpinestars replacement cheek pads, which are available in all thicknesses and are exchangeable between all shell sizes
- Communication System Compatible — Cutaway section on the left-side of the EPS to seamlessly accommodate Intercom Systems, with earphone recesses on both sides for speakers
- Construction
- Linings are removable and washable by hand using warm water and neutral soap
- Fabrics have antimicrobial treatments
- Crown Pad — Crown pad and neck pad are elastically connected, for better oblique impact management
- Top Pad — The top pad is removable and adjustable in height thanks to the A-head system
- Cheek Pads — The cheek pads are fitted 3D foam, with an emergency extraction system (ERS), with a channel for hydration tube installation
- Cheek pads are interchangeable among all sizes
- Chin Strap — Chin strap is fitted with a 25 mm width nylon strap, stainless steel DD rings, removable covers for washing purpose
- Integrated channels on both sides to accommodate a hydration system
- Protection
- Visor Detaching System features a release mechanism is conceived to avoid the inherent weaknesses in other anchoring systems
- Visor is engineered to automatically detach from the shell when it is subjected to an impact energy greater than 15 Joules for optimum impact protection, regardless of the direction
- PLASMA inside; Alpinestars PLASMA technology is strategically-integrated into the SM7's side pads for high performance shock absorption in a critical area, significantly reducing risk of injuries
